Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced Functional Tester to work as part of a team to assist the client in providing services for functional testing to various clients Benefits Systems. As a Functional Tester, you will need to identify, create and execute test scripts for changes made to the clients Benefits Systems and also assist in functional testing applications to ensure they meet agreed to Service-level Agreements (SLAs).
As part of the team, the Functional Tester will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:
- Review and understand system requirements/changes.
- Test script creation and execution.
- Data setup.
- Defect management.
- Create and submit a status report to the project lead.
- Facilitate and attend project Meetings.
- Provide knowledge transfer to client staff. Knowledge transfer shall be information which will enable or enhance the ability of client staff to maintain and operate internal systems. At a minimum, knowledge transfer shall include:
- On the job training and education, including all relevant documentation, to enable client staff to adequately maintain and operate the solutions. This may include job shadowing.
- Written manual and/or guide of all materials associated with the tasks performed in this contract, including a transition plan. The contractor agrees that the client may reproduce such documentation for its own use to sustain project continuity.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have three (3) years of experience developing at least one (1) of the following: test plans, test design specifications, or test case specifications.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least one (1) year of experience testing a management information application with at least 1,000,000 end users.
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience testing with the SaaS or Cloud platform.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years as a *power user utilizing a test management tool. (“Power user” is defined as a user role of a software with advanced skills who is assigned in an administrative responsibilities capacity to manage user access or run usage reports).
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience analyzing and translating at least one (1) of the following: business requirements, functional requirements, or technical requirements.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience testing custom .NET applications.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must be able to provide at least two (2) current references from previous engagements with other companies or government entities of similar size, scope, and type of service.
- Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) or more months of experience testing one (1) or more *benefit systems (e.g., Unemployment Insurance or Disability Insurance). The benefit systems need to have had at least 1,000,000 end users.
- Within the last ten (10) years, one (1) additional year of experience developing at least one (1) of the following: test plans, test design specifications, or test case specifications.
