Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced Business Solutions Analyst to provide Information Technology (IT) project management services and expert assistance to modernize its Case Management/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) PAL & Planning Consulting through the end of PAL Stage 2 Alternatives Analysis (S2AA). This may include modification of documentation already created for projects, creation of additional documentation to meet all the requirements of the PAL process, meetings with stakeholders to obtain the required information for the documentation, and potential work into Stage 3 and Stage 4 of PAL.
The Business Solutions Analyst will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:
- Analyzing and documenting requirements during the PAL process.
- Reviewing requirements with the client stakeholders and obtaining approval for the documented requirements.
- Escalate scope creep and requirement changes through the PAL Project Manager (Project Execution and Completion), to the following members of the clients team: Deputy Director and Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief of the PMO and obtain guidance and direction.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
- Must possess a bachelor's degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted
for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
- One or more industry-recognized certifications such as those offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), PMI, or equivalent organizations. A copy of the certificate must be provided upon request.
- At least six (6) years of broad and extensive full-time equivalent (FTE) experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master, with increasing responsibilities in those roles, applying business analysis principles, methods, techniques, and tools and with expertise in the Agile and Hybrid (Waterfall and Agile) methodologies. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
- At least six (6) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience conducting business analysis and documenting functional and non-functional requirements and meeting all the requirements of the California Department of Technology Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL), for three (3) State government IT CRM projects of medium size, scope, and complexity – i.e. projects with budgets of $5 Million to $10 Million, impacting 400 – 600 user program office users and durations of 1-3 years.
