Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Technical Lead to work as a part of the team to provide Information Technology services to the client in modernizing the legacy application with a single page web-based application. This role includes defining requirements and performing all necessary development activities to enhance the existing client online system. The enhancements aim to improve performance, efficiency, stability and/or user experience.
As part of the team, the Technical Lead will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for full stack secure web application development with the below technologies but not limited to following Clean Architecture & Microservices Framework:
    • Current ASP.Net Core (C#). 
    • Current Angular 
    • Typescript
    • Bootstrap
    • RESTful API
    • SSRS
    • CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap
  • Work closely with the cross-functional scrum team, including product owners, BAs, Testers and other developers to understand & contribute to the overall success of the project under the Senior Technical Lead leadership and guidance. 
  • Participate and contribute to the System architecture & design sessions with the Senior technical lead and other scrum team members. 
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, Sprint reviews and retrospective, and backlog grooming sessions. 
  • Work with the business solutions analyst in defining PBIs and breaking down the PBIs into development tasks with the Senior technical lead during the sprint planning and development sessions.
  • Develop & implement the custom code solutions based on the PBIs and acceptance criteria.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with comments following clients coding standards and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with developers within the scrum team to review and improve code through pair programming or code reviews.
  • Write unit tests to ensure the reliability of the code using MS Test, collaborate with the testers to address functional & non-functional bugs and issues found during testing, and embrace test-driven development (TDD) practices when applicable. 
  • Integrate code through pull requests into the Dev environment frequently in Azure DevOps and collaborate with the senior technical lead to ensure CI/CD pipelines are effective and reliable.
  • Ensure appropriate inline and static scans are run using the provided scanning tools to resolve security vulnerabilities before promoting the code to the main brain in Azure DevOps.
  • Maintain & update documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and other relevant technical project documentation. 
  • Communicate effectively with the scrum team including the scrum master providing updates on progress and identifying any challenges or roadblocks during the daily stand-ups. 
  • Provide constructive feedback during sprint retrospectives to continuously improve team scrum processes by actively participating in discussions about process improvements & team dynamics.

Mandatory Experience:
  1. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. 
  2. Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of aligning IT systems with organizational business processes experience must have been in a lead capacity.
  3. Must possess a bachelors degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
  4. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum seven (7) years of FTE experience performing as a lead programmer or software architect on projects utilizing .Net Technologies, C#, TFS, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.
  5. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum five (5) years of FTE experience developing software solutions that use UI/UX, Mockups, HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap, Responsive Web Design, Java Script, XML, MVC 5+, ASP.NET, WebAPI, SOAP and Entity Framework.
  6. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum two (2) years of FTE experience developing software solutions that utilize NET Core, RESTful API, JSON, Microservices Architecture, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Azure DevOps, Cloud Development, TypeScript, jQuery, NodeJS, Microsoft SQL, GitHub, Power BI, Angular, SQL Server 2016 and above.
  7. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum three (3) years of FTE experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipeline configurations in Azure DevOps.
  8. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum three (3) years of FTE experience with Unit Testing using Nunit, MS Test, etc.
  9. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum three (3) years of experience using Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
  10. Must be able to provide end client references (manager/supervisor level) for each applicable project from previous engagements performed within the last ten (10) years, providing services that are similar in nature and scope, and type of service.
